The Hanson Precast Story

Hanson, part of the global Heidelberg Cement group, entered the Australian precast concrete market in January 2005 when it purchased the business of Rescrete Industries Pty Ltd and its two factories in Mulgrave and Riverstone, NSW. Later that same year, Hanson Precast acquired the assets of Abby Precast located at Lidcombe in Sydney.

Rescrete Industries was founded in 1968 at the current Riverstone site in Sydney. Over the course of its 37 years in business, Rescrete succeeded in a challenging industry due to the quality of its people. Many of those same talented people are now part of our team today.

After consolidating our production capabilities, we now operate from two factories in Mulgrave and Riverstone. The Riverstone factory specialises in manufacturing architectural precast walls and structural precast concrete elements. Automated polishing technnology enables us to create unlimited finishes, shapes and forms for your wall panels.

Industrial precast walls and precast floor products are produced in our high-capacity, semi-automated plant in Mulgrave.

Our goal is to provide architects, developers, and commercial builders in NSW with energy saving precast concrete products that help you design smarter and build faster.
